Our Program
In 1946 The Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Company became aware of an interest of young men in the community who wanted to be firefighters and first aid providers. These young men were not old enough to join so the decision was made to establish the Lake Shore Junior Fire Company. The goal was to train these individuals and encourage them to become productive members of the senior company.
